I particularly love the third one, with its sense of increasing loss.

#unable to remember what an open door meant.#
Powerful line.

Hmm, where to begin...

I like the first one. I see it taking place in sixth year, definitely. I read the discussion you had on it, and I agree that Draco is very capable of that. I mean, he's cried more than once throughout the year, so we know that he understands the emotions behind crying, and thus might relate to someone who's crying, and let them be.

I like the second one because I love anything with Sirius in Azkaban. It angers me how much people, myself included, forget that he spent 12 friggen years there and is still the person he is when he came out. The ending just makes the whole thing much more sad, that he never got to take any sort of revenge on the place before his death.

I absolutely love the third one. I was going to quote some of my favorite lines, but I'd be quoting the drabble back to you. The door line is my favorite, however.

Your Bella is amazing. I love her, even if she is twisted and sick and sadistic. Have you ever checked out 781? Last time I checked they weren't too active, but it's a community ( ... )

Or maybe he was off balling his own eyes out over Dad. Who knows? Even evil people can have sympathetic moments - it's the psychos that have problems with that.

Between not getting any revenge on the WW, Azkaban, Peter, and all those doubting Thomases, his spirit would so not be at peace. I mean, talk about a fucked up life. At least he got to befriend Remus once more.

LOL, as much as I forgot the Dementors weren't there anymore, thank you.

I love my sick and twisted Bella...but I have to wonder if that is really how JKR views the character, considering that these are, while not children's books any longer, certainly not directed solely at an adult audience. I have ever only seen two authors address sadism and masochism in books (the Marquis de Sade and J. Karey) and I am not certain that JKR would even think to take her in that direction.

I have been ghosting there whenever I get a chance...not posting because I have a ton on my plate, like normal, and have to work to find free time to write...
