I think my mind skims over Sirius' 12 years in Azkaban -- it's just a plot device, I tell myself, and I try to keep any idea of what it must have been like for him out of my head. It's just a book, he's just a fictional character, it's not real.

Your drabbles make it hard to remember that.

It is a bit of the plot that I often skim over. I've been writing a lot of Sirius lately, and I've been thinking about those 12 years quite a bit, and I can't even imagine how he'd be 3 or 6 years in, nevermind 10 or 11. It's just such an insanely long amount of time for a place like that, and for him to come out how it did, it says an enormous amount about his character, if you ask me.

That being said, I'm really pleased to hear that the drabbles portrayed that time period in an outstanding way. I don't think I can even imagine a place like that, so I do the best I can. Thank you so much for the comments.
