I'm one of the crowd who thinks that for the HP series to end satisfactorily, there will have to be a revolution or the promise of revolution in the wizarding world. Because Voldie seems more a symptom of its problems than the root cause.
The drabble shows the post book seven world without any change to the status quo. But I didn't want it to be completely cynical and, in any case, the challenge was transformation rather than stasis so that's why I added the last line.
The title - Revolution - is from Terry Pratchett quote: "Don't put your trust in revolutions. They always come around again. That's why they're called revolutions. People die, and nothing changes."
