Thank you very much. I just suddenly felt like doing something different. I will say, though, that - at least in my head - the 'she' isn't Ginny. But it is a very vague drabble, so it's really up to you to decide who the characters are. I admit that one line is rather clumsy and misleading as to the girl's identity.
This made me think of Ginny as well, although really, I don't associate Tom with anyone else but her so I am a bit narrow minded that way. I really like this piece, the imagery is wonderful and there is something about the first time reading "she must lean forward, strain over the tops, stretch out an arm to hold her balance" that made me say it out loud twice.
