PoD Week 5
Here we are again and it's now Week 5!
We now have 1/6 of the blocks we need to complete our quilt top! After we get to Week 30, you will get to see the final layout with piecing instructions. Pretty exciting, huh?
As a reward for your hard work and dedication (and if you want!) you get to go fabric shopping! The sashing for the finished PoD quilt top will take approximately 1 yard. You really won't need it until August, but these things take time to choose and it never hurts to have your eye out for just the right fabric! Because I know everyone playing along has figured out what we're making now, even though you don't know quite where we're going, you're probably going to realize that your sashing will be an integral part of the quilt design.
Reminder: If you DO NOT want to see the block before you make the pattern in order to keep it a mystery, please do not click on the cut! If you leave a comment, you will be taken behind the cut and will see the block...just FYI!
Ah, aren't you relieved! A nice easy block! I had a lot of fun with the fabrics for this one and have come to think of it as Neville's block. There's a lot of Herbology going on in there!
