Author's Notes: Among my recipient's requests were Weasleys, Canon pairings and happy endings; additionally she said she would be super happy if someone illustrated anything she wrote. I took all those things and combined them in a drawing, inspired by her fic Grabbing the Brass . . . Cauldron?
Author's Note 2 The reason why hermione's hair is so short is because - I share a fandom headcanon that during the Final Battle Hermione's hair got a bit singed and so she decided to cut it short as a "passing ritual" - meaning she cut her always long and unruly hair to a managable and pretty curly short do to symbolize letting go of the past and embracing the shiny new future. (With Ron of course ;p)
