First, the housekeeping!

>> We had a total of 45 drabbles this year!

>> Please keep commenting, even if you're reading later in the year. It's always encouraging to know people are reading.

>> Tagging for this year will happen eventually!

>> Writers, to see all your comments, be sure to check DW and LJ's HP_Halloween. Also, remember that you can click the "track this" button at the start of each post (it looks like a thumbtack) if you would like to receive the comments on your drabbles in your inbox.

>> If you haven't already done so, you can re-post your drabble anywhere you like now.

Final Thoughts:

HP_Halloween was started by McHoneygoose in 2004. It looks like I took over in 2009 and managed for a couple years with a few helpers coming in and out of the picture (thank you, random helpers!!). Shadowycat and Starduchess joined me in 2011 and the celebration has run like a well-oiled machine ever since because they are both rockstars!

Next year, Titti will run HPH and Starduchess wants to stay on to help. It's been difficult to end my time on this exchange. Halloween in my birthday, and HPH has been one of my best gifts every year. But new energy and ideas are good for all of us, so I just want to reiterate my gratitude to Shadowycat, Starduchess, Titti, and everyone who participated over the years and will continue with the fest. You made Halloween so special for me and everyone else. You all have, as always, my love.

Final thoughts from Shadowycat:

I'd just like to say it's been an honor working with both you, Lore, and Margaret on HPHalloween all these years! I've enjoyed it tremendously, and I hope that everyone who's participated has enjoyed it as much as I have! This fest has definitely been one of the all time highpoints of my HP fandom experience! :D

Thoughts from Starduchess:

Thanks everyone for your flexibility and being willing to write for this year, even with the craziness and stress. The change in format allowed for a more low-key fest, which we needed this year. I hope you all had some spooky fun and please leave feedback for our wonderful authors, who make this fest shine with creativity and awesomeness. Many thanks to Lore and Shadowycat for your friendship and collaboration all these years, and I'll miss working with you both. But I will be back to help Titti out next year!

One last time,
love, lore, Starduchess and Shadowycat
