I think there are great possibilities for friendship dynamics between those two.

Pair (group) of friends: Draco Malfoy - Albus Severus Potter
Prompt: Draco is the Potions Prof at Hogwarts, Albus is in sixth year (age disparity 43/17 if that's of importance). The current Headmistress has asked Draco, who is openly gay, to run a group for the LGTB students at Hogwarts, which he first grudgingly, then more and more enthusiastically does. Albus, a shy, overweight boy, who hates to be in the "Potter limelight", is in the closet and in denial. Through [something - rumours, drunken confession?] Draco realises this, and invites Albus to join the LGTB group. Albus is horrified that his father's schoolday enemy knows his deepest secret. But slowly a friendship develops between Draco and Albus.

Prompt: Albus Severus is sorted into Slytherin, where being the Son-of-the-Boy-Who-Lived is even more problematic than it is elsewhere. The portrait of Snape that hangs in the Slytherin common room helps him through it, and Albus Severus gets to know the man whose name he bears. Through the friendship, both come to terms with their relationships with Harry. (This could include anything that strikes your fancy: canon-approved Snape-loathed-Harry, fanon-approved attraction between Snape and Harry, Albus Severus hero-worships his father, Albus-Severus resents his famous father... or anything, really.)

Prompt: They appear to be close-ish in canon. What kind of friendship is it? A few ideas: Maybe Molly sees Tonks as the woman she might have been if she'd made different choices. Does she urge Tonks to pursue Lupin, and maybe get pregnant, out of supportive friendship, or is it something else? Or take the opposite approach: Molly sees Tonks making the same choices she did, and tries to talk her out of it. Or maybe Molly wants to convince Tonks that she doesn't have to choose one or the other--maybe Tonks has choices that weren't open to Molly.

Prompt: In the aftermath of the final battle, the Wizarding World is rejoicing finally being free of Voldemort. Although Draco and Pansy are relieved too, they're also having to deal with being shunned by everyone they know. Draco is getting ready to be tried for his part in the war, while Pansy is suffering because she tried to hand Harry over to the Dark Lord (I'm thinking threats, verbal abuse in the street etc.) In these tough times, these two best friends only have each other to lean on.

Prompt: After the war, Draco became a Healer (not out of any sense of duty to his fellow wizards and witches, mind you). One day, after a horrible accident on the Quidditch field (probably involving curses and hexes from the other team, but that's still under investigation), Ginny Potter ends up in Draco's long-term recovery ward. And he can't avoid being the Healer to take care of her.
Bonus points to any author who doesn't ignore the larger implications and potential friction and strife that would come from Harry's wife becoming friends with the man who was once his mortal enemy (even if Harry has some respect for what Draco went through).
Likes: Thoughtful, character-driven fic, in-character characterization.
Dislikes: Smut, PWP, OOC behavior with no explanations.

I'd love to see a story about this friendship: how it developed, how it endured, how it was affected (for better and worse) by Elphinstone's proposal(s) and McG's continued refusals.

Prompt: After the war, for whatever reasons you choose, former Hogwarts Student X ends up needing to have a lot of interaction with Flitwick or McGonagall. It starts as just a working relationship (maybe a tense one, maybe not) and ends up as an actual friendship (not just a cordial collegial one).
Likes: IC characters, people coming to see each other in really different or unexpected ways once they're outside the teacher/student dynamic. I'd really love to see this done in a gradual, plausible way.
