you go to www.sitemeter.com and get a counter there.

than you put the name of the counter where the astrixes are in my code. and it will appear. just look at my diary and see how it looks

2 questions - are you using the right override for your style - and are you using a counter that doesn't require javascript?

Yes on both questions. Took the override for the Punquin Journal, and am using the Site Meter that doesn't require javascript.

Hmmm...another question - do you have any other over-rides currently in place?

I'm trying to think of what might be happening...

The Counter.com tags up? slithytove July 5 2001, 07:55:55 UTC
I've been trying for 3 days to get thecounter.com's counter to work for me. I'm sure my code's right. Can't even get the site to accept my password, the one they sent me by email. Site may be down.

However, there are other free counter sites on the web, and the one at http://www.digits.com/ seems to work for me. FYI.

Doesnt seem to work... boobur July 9 2001, 20:30:34 UTC
I think I have done everything right. I have my personal web page set in my webpage box and I have the correct code that corresponds with my style (pungiun). But all I get on my journal is a small little rectangle under my web address that is a link to thecounter.com If you want to see just go check out my jounrnal (username is boobur). Any help or suggestions is greatly apprectiated.
