Lazy Sunday Laundrymat Trip

It's weird how a pile of dirty laundry can change the way you wake up in the mornings, how you move about your daily business, and how you really feel. I finally decided that we had to haul our laundry to ( Read more... )

HURRAY! Death to the laundry monster! Why do clothes have to be so bloody expensive? If I could, I'd wear something a couple of times and then toss it *giggles* NOt that that is environmentally friendly or anything, just hate doing laundry. Hope they get the pipe fixed soon. We have the same trouble with tree roots. It's a pain. Congrats again on slaying the beast!

Well, they finished fixing it TODAY. After we got back with our laundry. I'm actually not bitter about it because we got four loads done at once at the laundrymat, which would of taken much longer here with just two washers/two dryers - our four loads would of been more like 6 or more. And even though it was $0.75 a load more expensive, I think it evened out with the worth of time saved. ;)

In actuality it was one of the shittiest days ever. When I posted about it I was trying to make it sound like an adventure but all Trey and I did that day was argue and fight. I was furious most of the time and I was SO angry when I had to walk all the way home to get the hangers and stuff. And, come to find out, the laundromat was actually about a mile away so it was a much longer walk than this story makes it sound. I was so furious I was in tears though. This day was just another horrible day in a chain of horrible days leading up to us breaking up, though it was significant in that the day would of otherwise been a regular adventure. :\
