Stargate Question: my roomie and I have been lookin' around for Stargate screensavers. I thought I saw one of 'going through the wormhole' - is there one out there somewhere? The only screensaver he found was the one with the SGC symbol spinning around. Blah. Help us!

I have one for each character from the CD cards they had out one year, and I could make a few if you wanted home-made ones.

Here's the Jack one, the rest is not online ATM, but could up them if you want them.

I don't use scrs either, but run them every once in a while coz they're pretty. Then I forget they're on, and all of the sudden the SG theme's booming from the speakers. *g*

So.... why are they called "monkey puzzle trees?" The look friggin weird! They imported those to Oregon?!

I have no idea why they are called that. And you can grow all KINDS of crazy shit in Oregon! Its amazing what you can find there! In my last neighborhood, one house had a monkey puzzle tree and some fir trees and pacific-nortwest indigenous stuff; another house had a pear tree and plum tree while another grew grapes and things; some have tons of flowers and another has bamboo - then one house had all this red dirt and gravel with cacti and sage growing! Pretty nifty.
