OMG Im in love with this one. I love how the point of view is coming from below and the perspective of blair's pants. I like the juxtoposition of the hard lined figures to the soft clouds. and Bikers would be AWESOME.
Haha, you always seem to reply the instant I post these. XD Yay! I am glad you like it! I have a hard time with perspective - I am not good at all with dynamic poses and comic-bookey stuff like that, though I wish I was. So when I took those photos of my friend Trey, I had her stand on the top of the stairs up above me, sitting and standing so I could have the perspective of looking up. :)
I noticed in a lot of modern comics, colorists are starting to color the linework as well - especially in Terry Moore's stuff (Strangers in Paradise) - the lines of the clouds and trees are always colored in to soften them so as not to distract from the characters in the foreground. :)
The *one* problem with the biker pic.... getting the forced perspective of a motorcycle when it is winter and none to be found. Haha, I can just see myself sneaking around the front of the bars, taking pictures of bikes. XD I'll think o' somethin'.
