Here are some photos from my road trip with Eric - they're all from Eric's camera and mostly taken by him as well. I'll have to post the pics of us mushing later (I am house-sitting and left the disc at my mom's). :)

Unleaded or unleaded... I say go with whichever is cheaper! ;-D

But yeeeowch, 3.55! It's... $2.79 here, I think, last time I checked. Oklahoma is usually among the lower gas prices in the country (gee, wonder why that might be... ;-D), so it's always a shock to see prices elsewhere.

Looovely sunrise pic. Almost worth getting up for (although I would totally have gone back to sleep afterward ;-D)

I'd hate to drive it, but the snow blowing across the road is really quite pretty.

All of the pictures are really, really awesome. Sure, I'm on dial-up, but I couldn't resist seeing pics of one of my favorite places :D

I don't know what is made of more awesome, the igloo or the exhaustcicle. I'm going with the exhaustcicle. :D

Yeah, that was in Cantwell, far from "civilization" so they can charge a LOT for gas. Still, it's around $3.20 or so around where I live... :\

You'd do well with catching sunrises around here mid winter! That sunrise was around 11am. ;)

The igloo might be less impressive once I tell you it isn't made of snow - it was an ill-fated attempt at a motel that failed to meet fire code. It now remains a boarded-up roadside spectacle, one of Alaska's 6 man-made wonders. :D

The color is all faded now. :( The only good pics of it are with my hair all mussy - they're in Trey's journal. We're thinking of bleaching the tips next time. :D
