I'm a little more concerned for who said replacements might be. If our zanpakutou are fucked up, then even if he sends some Arrancar or whatever, won't theirs be, too? Cuz if this problem is just affecting Seireitei I'm seriously calling shenanigans.

That's what I was thinking. If he is speaking of Arrancar replacing us... I have no doubt they are competent enough to handle Hollows, but I have little faith in their ability to adequately care for plus souls.

Indeed. I highly doubt that an Arrancar can perform a soul burial, which means that any pluses would either remain in the Living World as nothing more than Hollow bait, or be devoured by the Arrancar themselves.

This is hardly a solution.
