There are only a few instances where you actually have to specify whether you have a diploma or a GED. On most employment forms/applications for higher education, there's a "yes or no" section asking whether you have "a high school diploma or equivalent". A GED classifies as one such equivalence.
I don't know what I'm doing in the future, either. To be honest, it is somewhat alarming to think about. I think, though, that you and I will both make our place in the world. It's just a matter of time until the opportunity presents itself.
Actually, that's coming from a person who isn't even goal-oriented yet. Because you have an idea of what you'd like to do for a living, you're a step ahead of me. That dream may change, or it may stand. Just have faith in your abilities, take every opportunity to improve, and just wait for your chance to really make something of yourself.

and i shall take care of you... you will live out in the middle of nowhere and every weekend i shall drive out and give you a crate of food/supplies that will last you until the next weekend when i shall come back.
and every once in awhile you shall come out and greet me and show me your newest creation, but more often you shall just ignore my comings and leave me a note thanking me for the supplies.
