Nap Time

I used to share nap time with my youngest. Well... it was nap time for me. Or it was supposed to be. I'd lie down for a nap and he'd tumble into the bed and decide that it was play-time. I sleep with a woollen patrol cap on my head. Great insulation for the follically challenged individual.

When I was around 35, my father and I went to DisneyWorld together. We were meeting my brother and his family there; they'd gotten an earlier start. As we were queuing up to disembark from the ferry into the park itself, I saw a little girl, about 11, holding her father's hand and bouncing up and down with excitement while turned to face him.

So I took my father's hand, and I bounced up and down, sing-songing, "I'm going to DisneyWorld with my dad-dy! I'm going to DisneyWorld with my dad-dy!"

And I can't help but think that, one way or another, you are going to play "the hey game" again one day. :)
