Andais always gives me the shivers, and you rendered her quite nicely, though I was wondering if there was going to be some kind of test of wills between her and Morag! Heh!

Poor Morag...she needs to come clean with Merry and the bunch! (though she did have a bath, I suppose that helps!)

Still adoring every minute of this. Very, very much so.

Morag and Andais will meet again, rest assured, and there will definitely be sparks. As for her needing to come clean--would you if you were in her shoes? Why should she trust Merry any more than Andais or Taranis? Morag may be a compassionate soul, but she's also pragamatic and has no interest in becoming more of a pawn than she already is.

And baths always help!

You know I love it. I'm really enjoying this story (it's been a while, so I am experiencing it all over again)

Are there 16 parts in Act I, or the whole story?

Sixteen total, I think. There are the six parts you've already beta'd that are Act One. Act two goes until, well, I can't say here without spoiling anyone. But it's safe to say this is a three act play, more or less.

Interesting, Andais' comment that Morag could almost be hers - she has such issues, does Andais. And pregnant Biddy! (I realise that's canon, or was soon to be canon, something like that, but it's still all exciting and stuff.)

. . . can I borrow Usna to have a few words with my little fey feline creature? The one that is so DEFINITELY Unseelie? Something on the lines of "don't pounce on Mummy and bite her arms while she's trying to sleep".

Andais's issues could fill up a library--I think she's a fantastic character. So are you liking Usna more here than you did in canon? His personality is modeled after my mother's late cat, Isis.

Hrmm - it wasn't so much that I disliked him in canon, as that I found him not particularly noticeable one way or another. I guess the best way to put is that I disliked him as a character, not as a person - he didn't seem to have a point. Obviously, he has a point here and far more personality, so yes, I like your version better. :)
