Though I don't know Morag's canon background (aside from what you've explained to me), you've made her very real and three-dimensional here, I feel that I have a strong sense of the character. I loved her thinking that she couldn't be alive . . and then she coughs and started shaking. Not pleasant, sort of cynical, but very real, that. Like, one semi-functional body - check. Definitely amoung the living. Looking forward to more!
That's pretty much what she thought, though a bit more disorientation involved. She met a very sticky, miserable, and heartbreaking end, so she would not be pleased to be back amongst the living once more. Particularly if there was any chance that she'd end up like she was before. Horror doesn't even begin to cover it.

You did a marvelous job capturing the return of her spirit - her vow to do a little 'gathering' of her own once her job was done. Go Morag!
