Heeeeee! I think the line "evil little prayers" is destined to be a classic.

Excellent! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Writing Angelus' dialogue here is a treat.

Now, about that wishing business, I want you to tell me everything

Oh, so very ominous. Still loving this!

Thrilled you're still enjoying it. Yes, ominous. Dark deeds from a dark vampire. Sorta.

Giving him a kiss on her way by, Anya resisted the urge to run her fingers through his cash drawer.

*dies*

This was most excellent. Having Angel tear in all grr-face at Giles' hysterics was a good flip-side to their relationship. It's not all snark and thorns.

And as Cissasghost said, lovely ominous ending.

*grin* Glad that line worked. It seems very Anyaish, doesn't it?

I'm glad you got the significance to Angelus coming to Giles' rescue. For all that they have a very fucked up and hostile relationship, there is a certain amount of regard there, and not just because their lives are forever entertwined.

I have to say, this just keeps getting better and better. I was pulled into this 'Verse with the first story but by now I'm well and truly hooked. I really love how this is going, and am VERY intrigued as to what kind of revenge Angelus is looking for, and to whom.

Hooked? Excellent. Because there are two more stories planned after this one...
