Oh my! I just loved this, doll! Sweet, cute, steamy, and just the right amount of jackass / snark.

Of course, my favorite thing about this (besides the pairing... more MacDick! Yay!) is the attention to detail! Fiona Apple(which I totally have to listen to...now!), zinnias, snickerdoodle-scented shampoo (does such a thing really exist?! I want some!)... I'm such a sucker for the details! Brava!

Oh, and this: “Fo guck urgself,” Dick garbled? Flipping genius!

Snickerdoodle shampoo does, in fact, exist. It's actually Sugar Cookie by Philosophy, but it smells like Snickerdoodles to me! Yum.

I'm big on detail in all my fics and I think it goes a long way towards establishing the reality of a fic.

All of Philosophy's stuff is delicious. I had a perfume once that smelled like vanilla cookies and my husband made me stop wearing it--though he bought it for me--for the exact reason Dick likes the shampoo above: I wore it, he ate cookies. Mmmm, cookies.

Obviously, I'm starving.

I tend not to write things I can't believe in even a little bit. They're such an ingrituing possiblity as a pairing, but it has to be done very carefully or it won't work. I'm glad you like it!

As you know the thought of this pairing always did kinda get my motor running, so I was uber excited when you told me you were working on it. Now, consider my brain signifigantly eaten as well.

Completely AWESOME ficlet. And I am just so overjoyed you cannot image. As usual you character voice is so nicely pitched and your tone and story flow are a delight. And your Dick? LOVE HIM! Mac? Made of awesome!

I'm glad you like it! I won't read other fics that feature the same pairings I write when I'm writing them, so I'm not sure what else is out there. I can see this going horribly wrong in execution, though.

Dick is more complicated than he thinks he is, and I think he needed to be held just as much. They look like they're going to be a fun pairing to play with.
