Seems I spoke too quickly...

My backups have failed *sobs* so I'll have to reconnect the old PC and copy them manually.

And the stupid bloody manufacturer didn't install my RAM upgrade, so I had to open the computer, take out the old stuff and put the new stuff in myself! I feel I've aged about 20 years... *g*

Off to faff around copying data by hand, now :(

(Wish I *did* have a chip inserted!)
