Since the show where he'd broken down and talked about his mother, Shuffle had been fairly quiet overall. And you really can't blame him--it was all too easy for people to discover who had brought their mother into the hospital and moved into Heart Castle. She barely ever listens to DJ Shuffle, honestly, but it's late. Even though she does feel more...reassured that the world probably isn't actually ending, the insomnia hasn't entirely dissipated.

The radio is good company in her office as she works on shifting money into the operating budget for the new 'additions,' and she's not entirely sure why she picks up the phone and calls in.

"I doubt anyone ever thought I was a fool," she says dryly. "Though I'm fairly sure there was a large contingent who thought I was an idiot."
