I'm thinking that Rachel here is probably still out of the loop with all the latest court scandals, having just gotten back from... wherever, so she won't be in group one. (Unless she has a chat with her likely better-informed ace sometime soon?) Finding the body is a possibility, and I don't think she'll be too interested in how it happened. Not for the right reasons, anyways.

But really she will be verrrrrry interested in the power void. I'll have to talk to the various Clubs!muns, but she'll probably push for her whole who-needs-a-king-anyways point-of-view. (While being very motherly and sympathetic towards poor Eileen, of course. Poor baby'll be traumatized. <3)

Perhaps this could also be the beginning of her alliance-ing with Athena, if she suspects her involvement? Which she will, of course. Everyone suspects the Spades. =P

Soooooo I would love for input from Queen Club!mun in terms of how the Club court will hold up after the death. If she doesn't show I suppose we can say that she's locked herself away in mourning... >< and then the Court will be totally broken, because it'll just be Ace and her Jack. *nervous laughter*

Anyway. Lance never suspects anything before the fact but after the fact (and probably because of Eileen), he's going to want to know what happened. And Lance is a nice guy but his little Ace's heart is broken so he might break some toes to figure things out. If any Spades are willing to do a little NPC-spy torture... hmm.

Right. Um. Yeah. Lance is not going to be a happy camper.

Yep, that was pretty much my idea on how we'll handle things with the Queen of Clubs.

If I say I am always up for some torture, how sick and wrong does it sound? (Why is almost everything I say weird in these comments???) Though it is very likely I misunderstood something, because my brain died during exams today.

I mean, really, I don't think Eileen will be much good for any of this other than officially flipping a shit when Andrew dies. Someone might have to keep an eye on her if Lancelot's going off to bust heads?

if athena is looking for something QUITE subtle, then i think hagen is a good choice. there are plenty of different ways for him to go about poisoning the king and making it look like an accident (for example, make it look like he had too much to drink and in his drunken stupor DROWNED IN THE FOUNTAIN >> ;;) or if she wants it to look like deliberate and then try to FRAME it on somebody else, he can do that too. HE AIMS TO PLEASE.

Oh, but Athena wasn't thinking sublte. She was thinking something along the lines of 'brutal stabbing'.
Though framing would be sweet, on an NPC, maybe? The truth will shine through eventually, anyway, though it'd be a good solution to have someone to imprison for it. :)
