[Locked to In Su] Date Night
The sun had already set when Teddy knocked on In Su's door. He'd dressed for the cool evening air in a maroon turtleneck under a thick black cardigan with a nice pair of jeans, hair as close to tamed as it ever was. He never took this sort of care with outfits for work or for hiding in the castle undercroft, preaching to the world.
But this was something worth looking nice for. A date. Hot cocoa and dinner with someone who likes him. His mother was already in bed, but even she had commented on how happy he seemed. She liked seeing him happy--she never was, herself.
His thoughts only lingered on her for a moment. Tonight was for him, and for In Su. Tonight was for young fumbling and soft laughter. Tonight would be amazing. Right?
