4X05 Mirror Mirror Talk

The episode was such a let-down.  Click if you want to hear what I thought, but I don't blame you if you just want to move on.  Or go back a week to Guardian Angels (love).

PoTW was truly the highlight.  Such a shame it was wasted on new people I haven't purchased emotional stock in yet.  The 'what if?' is a killer here.  So much possibility...

I agree with a lot that you said. You really just had it spot on with what said about the writers using PotW to try and make us connect with these un-connectable characters.

What I liked about the episode was that it was almost back to classic House. You had great parts by Wilson, Cuddy, Foreman and House. It was back to their usual banter. Now all that needs to happen is for Cameron to get her lobby art butt out of the ER and back upstairs with House... heh that almost sounded dirty.

This was the only episode of the season that I watched at home. I've been out of the country in Italy for school, so i don't exactly know all that is going on. I really was only able to watch snipets here and there.

so if you guys don't mind answering this. The House/Cam/Chase situation. I'm guessing that there really isn't a situation at all. But would anyone mind giving me some info on whether or not their together in the show, and have there been any kick-ass House/Cam moments that I should search the internet for?
Thanks

Foreman referred to chase as "Your Boyfriend" when he was talking to Cameron...and looks like they were leaving together in a previous ep, so i assume its still going on. But then again any guys i have broken up with my friends still say "would ya tell your boyfriend..." when they're annoyed. who knows...hasn't really been anything definately confirming or anything

Here's a quick recap of S4:

Alone - no H/C

The Right Stuff - great H/C scene, final scene we see House has found Cameron working in the PPTH ER. He watches her from the hall (see my banner...) and they have a wonderful exchange.

97 Seconds - Crap.

Guardian Angels - OK, go watch the entire epi. It's seriously filled with H/C love and mochafrap goodness. House and Cameron make a bet, Cam buys House lunch, and in the end gets her winnings from House in a lovely scene (see this icon...)

How great would it have been if they had shown Cameron treating the patient and after 3 years we finally get some insight into what Cameron is thing? Maybe how she feels about her job, or about House or about PDH and why she married him. What a waste to use the time on DWB guy or the other newbies who are leaving soon.

Right on. Though, the way things have been going they may have had PoTW mirror an inconsistent or unreal trait of Cam's.

That's mostly why I was so disappointed; the PoTW actor was amazing, the idea was squee-worthy, the potential was laid out for greatness. It fell short.

I agree with you at most of the thing,
but I think this ep. was not so bad. I LOL-ed 2 or 3 times (Come on, you can't say that House's "victory dance" wasn't funny :)).
I also enjoyed the Wilson-House scenes.
But so little Cam and the fact that Chase/Cam is still going on disappointed me :(
And what was that conversation with Foreman in the elevator? I don't know if I got it right (I hope not!!!) , but are they trying to suggest that something is already going on between House and Cuddy?

Nope I don't think so. House just said that Cuddy may get pregnant cause he's done something to her brith control pills. I mean if he was sleeping with her I don't see him messiing with her pills.

I'm wondering whatever happened with that baby arc...i mean it was ridiculous but...i mean has she stopped wanting kids...now she's back on Birth Control??

Thanx for the explanation :) It makes sense that he would not let her get pregnant with him ...

But it does not make sense why Cuddy stopped wanting kids. And actually it does not surprise me, ´cause lately there are more things there, that does not make sense to me. *shakes head at the writers*

You're right, I laughed more than once but overall I felt that the potential of this week's episode fell flat.

House/Wilson scenes were SUPER! Wilson as the Alpha? OK, Wilson is my personal hero.

I didn't see the elevator conversation with Huddy implications...

Too true. I thought there were a few funny bits...annoyed at how long we had to wait for cam to be in the ep lol

I was hoping cuddy woulda won the power struggle...

I don't give a damn about 13. i miss the old guy {Carmen!!!}

13 is what writers came up with to try & recreate the magic of H/C S1. Can't recreate it though, that's what they don't get. House wouldn't fall for the fake, contrived mystery that 13 is going for. Sure, she's not tough on the eyes but that's not special. Pretty girls exist everywhere in the world.

She's like Honey with the right answers. I don't know if it's the actress (who seems as if her brain is somewhere else) or the way the character is written. But the House I was attracted to in season 1 would never have fallen for the mysterious damsel in distress act.

I thought about this and tried to remember how I felt about Resignation and the ultra-short Honey-phase... It didn't bother me as much as 13...

Because House was unknowingly on anti-depressants.
Because he clearly was after just 1 thing.
Because her puzzle was solved the minute he saw her toe-loop sandals, but that didn't stop him because -duh-, she's hot and he wanted to see what he could get.

Always thought House made the move on Honey b/c of the happy pills, he figured her out right away but that was fine b/c hey, she's young and cute so why not? 13 is no more of a mystery. She's hiding everything because that's how she knows to get House's attention, there's no real puzzle there.

the House I was attracted to in season 1 would never have fallen for the mysterious damsel in distress act.

Bravo. Give the nail a bandaid, because you just hit it on the head.

Yay! I got a Wuddy moment. Wuddy moment in House's office. That was nice. I think they should hang out more ;) Wilson could teach her a few tricks...
I also didn't like were they're going with Cuddy's character btw. She used to be such a toughie, now she's well...she gets all mushy in the knees when she's around House. Not good!
The epi as a whole wasn't that bad. Still it didn't live up to Guardian Angels (especially since there was only one Cam!scene in it. Care to write her more into the episodes, people? Less 13 please!)
When it comes to 13. Well...She just plain boring and too perfect. House's not about perfect people (now where did this come from? :)... Be gone 13!

Hey, honestly, thanks for bringing up the Wuddy moment. I didn't even let it soak in, what with my full schedule of choking down forced House/13 moments. Gag.

More Wuddy please! Less 13.
