six-bed long-term room, three bunks, really quite bigger than the last, though still filled with long-termers and therefore all sorts of random crap we'd accumulated.

That's not normal, right? I mean, I don't have a lot of hostel experience (read: none) but I just can't imagine living in one for more than a few months.

I'm fascinated by the thought of living in one, as an observer, though. All the insane, different people coming in and out and all. I hope you post a lot more stories about living in these places!
