An exercise idea

I'm thinking of a new House fiction project for myself.  Here's the inspiration:
  • I have been reading great fics, and I realize I don't have a grand, long story idea at the moment, but I enjoy writing shorter ones.
  • I have really been enjoying the Kickstarters exercises here in the Clinic.
  • I read a great fic that had a touching image of two ( Read more... )

"I've got you" can certainly be a powerful line, in this fandom. Probably in other fandoms too, but yeah.

I used it In this fic. It was one of those, I'd forgotten about the fic, and when I rediscovered it and reread it, I was like, yeah. That works.

Good luck with your challenge!

Well I would imagine you have to approach it from who you like to write about...I find I like to write about all the characters equally...so I am writing a novella and I have a Cameron/House pairing (big surprise!) Though I am writing it in the guise of a Parisian Holiday romance setting...Here are some interesting pairings though which I can recommend as a challenge ( ... )

"Why me?"
"Trust me."
"You first."
"It's not my fault."
"I don't need your help."

Ooooh...I like these!

How about:

"I decide when we're finished."
"I bet that took a lot to say."
"How is that at all helpful?"

How about:

1. "You can't do this on your own." "Don't tell me what I can't do."

2. "You must be dreaming." "I sure hope so."

3. "Stop! Just let go." "I can't."

I really like these. This challenge is turning out to be a tough one. Maybe I'll have them done in a week or two. :)
