I really liked the second piece. The first one was great too (but I'm pretty sure I already read it, so it wasn't as fascinating as the second one). Anyways, I enjoy your style for both fics, but I think the line I like the most is the last one: When her husband arrives much later than midnight, it is enough time to have fallen in love all over again. I just find it so telling...

I'm very glad you enjoyed it; the idea popped into my head and I was worried it wouldn't be too cohesive.

I was pretty sure I had replied, but I couldn't quite remember... *grins*

And I found the idea very cohesive- actually, I found that the two vigs seemed to belong together. They're from two very different points in time, but they just...worked very well with another.
