Title: Devotion
Characters/Pairing: Gregory House/James Wilson
Prompt: 008. Fear
Word Count: 640
Rating: PG
Spoilers: None
Author's Notes: Um, my first House fanfic that’s complete. Don’t kill me okay? And it’s slash. So, if you don’t like men being “friendly” with other men, don’t read it.

If he had known, if only he had known he would have done something sooner. )

It is good. Heartbreaking. So very sad, but a lot of the good fics are.

I was going to write more, but I figured, leave it as is. A little wondering and imagination on the part of the reader makes it more enjoyable. At least I think so. ^_^ Glad you enjoyed it!

That is so sad! I'm not a H/W slash person, but this was written with tenderness, which was nice.

And don't bash your own fic, dear. You did a nice job on this one. Just know that each one you write gets better and writing is definitely a learning experience!

Aw, thank you for the words of kindness! I have a tendancy to bash myself constantly. But it's good to know people enjoy my work. The inspiration from this actually came from something I personally went through. Maybe that's what helped with the emotion and such. Anyway thanks for the comment!

Hey, I'm right there in that boat with you. My friends are constantly annoyed by me, because I will spend forever poring over a fic and working and working, and then proclaim it total crap and hate it and burn it. But you do get better with time, and even though I'm not a slash person, dude, you don't suck.
