I'd like to see a comedy version of House MD as both HL and LE are originally comedy actors. Laurie's comedic timimg is flawless and Edelstein is... Edelstein.
Can anyone do anything with that?

As for the current subject matter being too grim for comedy... (re)watch the final episode of Blackadder Goes Forth to get ideas. Excellently bitter-sweet as comedy should be.

It's my favorite episode. I laughed and cried a lot during this one. The last scene is wonderful. Hugh is awesome, he's just heartbreaking.

Oh, you must finish it! I'm obsessed. You know how almost every show, cartoon or anime sooner or later have a Christmas Carol episode, and since House it's drama (damn!) it's never gonna happen, and the other day I've watched that The Flinston Special - Christmas Carol and I though 'oh, House could so do Scrooge' because I can pratically hear him say 'Bah, hambug!' all of that to say...please finish it!
