ITA! This is a fantastic story that holds up well to multiple reads. And the character voices are fantastic, although I'd say she's been jossed in regards to Cameron. This is worth reading for the House snark alone!

This is a great rec to kick off with. I've read the story several times, and also the (sadly) only other House fic by this author. That one is more of a ship fic without the serious plotting of Parthenogenesis, but still a great read.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more recs in this fandom.

You started things off with a bang, all right. :-) God, how I love these two stories. Shalott's one of the best writers in the Master & Commander fandom, too; I have all fingers and toes crossed that she'll continue in the House fandom. Not only does she get House just right -- which is a feat of really frightening difficulty -- but I love her wistful, acerbically tender Wilson.

Pleeeeeeeease, Shalott, write more.
