Ingress sits on one of the couches in the Common Room, leafing through a stack of colorful books. She looks up when she hears the rustle of someone coming through a painting.

"Oh, hi Mia!" she calls.

"Hello, Ingress," she replies.

She has a bright smile on her face and a rather thick book under her arm.

Conveniently hiding her left hand.

"How have you been?"

She'll tell her the good news in a moment.

"I'm good. I'm reading books about owls. I picked them to do a report on, since we have two."

"Oh? Any sort of owls in particular?"

She moves the book to her right hand, her left still fairly hidden.

"No, it's a report on as many kinds as I want. There are lots of different kinds. Galatea is a snowy owl and our new owl is a barn owl. The other one died of old age."
