In the School Room

The school room in the House of Arch is a simple place. It was a classroom in a school destroyed in the Blitz. Tom found it, and chose it in particular, since it reminded him of the tall-ceilings and wooden wainscoating of his own classrooms at the orphanage. The walls have been painted a bright yellow which brightens the former white plaster up immeasurably.

There is a round table in the room, along with a comfortable couch, bookshelves, cabinets for supplies, and a few schooldesks arranged around the chalkboard. There are also a couple of adult-sized desks and a cabinets for the teachers' things.

Today is the day before classes are to begin. It's time for teachers to greet, or meet, their pupils.
