first of all, absolutely fantastic title. i love "variations on a theme" music (am actually listening to one right now by vaughan williams, lol) and you illustrated this in writing very well! great writing, great story. i really liked this line in particular: "Cameron's mind replays the past, while Thirteen's struggles with the future." very touching and also incredibly true to their characters. well done!
