This explains why Cuddy puts up with so much from him. She feels terrible- and who blames her? And yet... and yet, they still talk to each other and joke around with each other. Could this be an acknowledgement from House that he understands that people make mistakes? I mean, in the pilot he didn't come out and tell his patient when she asked- "My stupid doctor didn't catch it in time!". I wonder if perhaps House was going to a different doctor but kept getting worse so he went to see Cuddy (emergency room perhaps?) and that's when it got properly diagnosed but it was too late. I'm only guessing here but that's happened to me. I had a sinus infection for three months but I went to several doctors and they kept saying it was a cold and kept giving me stuff for that. I finally decided to give it one last go and this time around the new doctor took one look at me and ordered an x-ray of my face. I guess as soon as he looked at the x-ray he knew what was what and I finally got the right medicine and was better within a week. I had
