I'm completely okay with Dementors *_*. I'm actually so uncreative now, buuut I think in the scenario-ish thing the walls being turned into hedges filled with gnomes could be fun for shenanigans? Or Devil's Snare infestation... The black lake filled with grindelow could take a place between the lakes (thinking)... Yeah. I like dorky stuff.

I WILL GET TO TAGGING THAT IN A BIT, TAIFACE! But as I wasn't here for the original D.A. and the one I run at Mayfield is different dfgdhg I have no idea what to say here.

I also thought I should say: I'm going to try this event and get through the AC, but I'm incredibly uncomfortable/terrified of Luceti for various reasons and it's... causing more stress than it should. With uni starting, if it doesn't work out I'm really sorry and feel awful for it but if my attempt doesn't work I'm more than likely dropping. I hate to do it, but I'm going to have enough stress that... Being in a game I'm terrified of posting in won't help ( ... )

I like Devil's Snare infestation! Grindylow and mermaids (and the Giant Squid) in the lake would be fun too, especially since a certain someone spends a great deal of time over there.

I mentioned it in my own response, but I think your experience with the Mayfield DA makes your advice invaluable for trying to get this one going again (if we decide to). It might be different but I think you've got a good idea to how to make it run successfully.

I hope Luceti becomes more comfortable for you but if you decide to drop, I understand. :(

I JUST LIKE THE LAKE STFF ;u;

OKAY. I had a huge thing describing what I did for Mayfield D.A. but then LJ ate it... so give me a bit to get over my loss and I'll try typing it up again.

: < I'm trying but I'm just hngh, too not... here for it.

Dementors can be fun and I approve of the grindelows in the lake. That'd be kind of awesome, actually. And maybe Devil's Snare eating the house and trapping the gang inside or something.

No worries! I'm not tagging right now anyway. Well considering you've got Mayfield's running maybe there's something we can pull from that. It doesn't have to be just like the old one :o

I know, I know. I know you'd feel bad but you just do what you feel comfy with, kay? None of us would hold it against you at all and I'd keep a Kisa around anyway. (cozy) Stupid LJ won't let me use plurk emotes :| Anyway though try your best and if it comes to it, we understand.

Dementors are a great idea, and I think there's a lot we can pull out (aside from the basilisk :( maybe we could nerf it to just turning people into stone?) if we wanted to. The Tri-Wizard tournament alone is ripe with stuff (dragons!) and there's also giants if we wanted to venture into Battle of Hogwarts territory even if no one is currently that far in canon right now. Also Nagini.

I don't really have plans for anything outside of here so I just plan to wing it. (Har har)

I'd like to get the DA rolling again! I liked that it was there although I struggled with the log structure in the one big log that we did. I kinda fumble in big logs like that. Maybe we could utilize the lucetida comm some more and maybe have an appointments post there? I think it'd do well with some structure or perhaps some handwaving. I don't know what other ideas to suggest but Kisa has gotten it to work in Mayfield so there's got to be a way to do it right. And this event does offer a prime opportunity to get it going again ( ... )

The problem with the basilisk turning people to stone is that it basically renders people unplayable until there's a fix, i.e. probably the end of the experiment. It's kind of a dick move, so let's stick with things that give people a fighting chance, like the dementors and stuff. I'm not sure how dragons would fare, considering there have been friendly dragons and that might be something to talk to Bayley about because if DRAGONS came into play, Toothless would probably be up in all that. Also Nagini what? And Giants are also an option just because they're from the HP canon. Doesn't mean the kids have to be that far. It could kinda be fun for them to see them and go WTF though :o

There's still time to plan stuff if you decide you want to! The plotting post looks like it's still open, at any rate.

Well we could always change it so it functions like Buffy and Goroh's fight school. The kids could take on a certain amount of students each and that cuts all of our threads smaller, too (And Draco would claim Tsuzuki and Hisoka and Xion < ( ... )

I figured it might be interesting as a late in the event kind of thing but I'll drop it. I'm not sure how the dragons would fare or Nagini, but I was just tossing out ideas for other stuff from canon if we wanted it. Giants would be cool and would wreck a lot of stuff.

I might look it over again. I'm still settling into things.

That would ease things for everyone, though it limits the interaction amongst everyone.

Harry's feeling guilty that he's spent so much time not working towards fighting Voldemort, especially since he's been gone for so long. He's ready to go back whenever that finally happens. If he was post-death or post-BoH, he's either done everything he could possibly do or actually defeated Voldemort, so that'd give him more incentive to focus on Luceti defense stuff and helping people out. Plus, he'd have a little readjusting to do and that might freshen him up in the game a bit.

The main thing with the basilisk that's a concern is that it's pretty hard to kill, that's all. Nagini I think would also run into the problem of having no one controlling her, i.e. nobody telling her to attack or commanding her in any way, which would mean needing Voldemort and I'm pretty sure that wouldn't fly either. Dragons like I said my only concern is about the work Bayley's put in with Hiccup and Toothless, plus with everything else going on around town dragons might not be the biggest concern BECAUSE of Toothless and then there's the aftermath where people may fear dragons and if Toothless still lives there...see what I mean? The giants would be cool though, and then like I edited above just now, someone mentioned boggarts to me which are versatile enough that it could be pretty awesome. I also like Kisa's idea of the grindylows and the devil's snare, though the mermaids may be a bit iffy considering Luceti has its own mermaid hanging out. It's a thought though ( ... )

As for Draco event-wise I think not only is he going to immerse himself in his own cast stuff, but I have vague plans to toss him into the YnM stuff going on along with some of the Vampire Diaries/Buffy stuff that may or may not occur (i.e. stuff is still in the works.)

Also may or may not toss him at the KH crew (because clearly PLAYING two of the KH kids isn't enough.) Considering what I have planned with KH crew it depends mostly on what Emily is going to do with Xion. If I can toss Draco her way, more than likely I will. If anything else comes up I'll report back here o/

So, I've been so absent and lackluster lately, and I honestly don't know why. I like the game and all, but the events don't excite me the way they used to, and I just stare at my f-list like, "Um... what would Ron even say?" I don't know if it's because Ron is as antisocial as I make him out to be or if the game just feels so... big. Like I could post frequently or disappear for a month, and it wouldn't make any difference either way.

So... I don't know. Maybe I need a hiatus or something, or maybe this just isn't the place for me. Either way, I'm going to try and get myself involved in this event, but it's beginning to feel like work to get myself involved in this game. If anyone has any suggestions, they'd be much appreciated. I love playing Ron, and I love all of you, so I don't want to leave and don't want the guilt of half-assing it. So yeah. Suggestions, whether for what Ron can do during the event or in general, would be nice.

Janetttttt

Currently at work so can't elaborate much, but leaving you a comment to let you know I hear ya and I'll try to brainstorm some stuff for you if you'd like? Are you more for silly things or for something serious this time around? I might have a couple of things I can suggest.

But I know how it is. ♥ We'll all work together to figure out something o/

LJ doesn't seem to work on my home computer right now, so I couldn't respond last night. But! I appreciate your understanding and I am up for absolutely anything. On the one hand, I'm in the mood for silliness, but on the other hand, playing Ron in serious situations makes me happy, so either/or works for me.

Thanks for the offer to help, bb. Like I said, the enormity of the game is making me a little uncomfortable, and I don't want to be the person who only plays with her cast, but I really do love you guys too much to not try and stick it out.
