a wild Sol appears

Hey everybody! Long time, no see? I'm sorry for disappearing and reappearing so much lately. As soon as I came off hiatus I had a major health issue and a surprise visit from my mom. So... not a lot of me around lately. If I've missed a thread we were doing, let me know ( Read more... )

I think the draft might be one of those rare times when Ron and Draco are going to need to help one another (which means that neither of them will come back happy). I didn't have anything specific in mind in terms of plotting, since I really just wanted Ron to jump in there for the sake of actually doing something and being active, so anything anyone wants to throw at me is welcome.

I know we went over the bedroom stuff once before, but I can't for the life of me remember exactly which room I had, especially since, like,... everyone's moved out. I know that I'd picked a room based on the fact that it was empty and right next to Hermione and Harry, so it could have been one of the two on either side of Harry, or it could have been the one on the far left. I think, though, that that had been Hermione's room, and so Ron's was in-between hers and Harry's? idek.

PS- Hope the health issue cleared up without too much of a hitch, Sol!

Harry won't care if they don't come back happy so long as they come back alive. I don't have much to offer aside from Harry being pretty mother hen-esque and handing off his neck chain. Back when we had a Tom Riddle, the neck chains were made as a way for Draco and Harry to communicate without using the journal where Riddle might catch on. The only thing it does is bite, but it's mostly a means of getting attention.

I... can't remember which one he had either, but I remember that discussion. I guess either one is fine? I know they were all right next to each other. /fails

I wish it had. -_- I was great until I went back into work.

I don't mind using the chain, though Ron will be utterly confused by it. But then, he's utterly confused by a lot of things. XD

I guess we can see which room Hermione wants, then, and Ron will take whichever puts him closest to the both of them.

I still haven't decided if I want Ron to come back badly hurt. Perhaps he gets injured helping a magic-less Draco? Thoughts?

Draco's probably coming back tomorrow (depending if I actually work tomorrow or not), and he'll be back without any of his Hogwarts/wizarding magic. His wand will essentially be useless for at least a few weeks, so throwing him into the draft is obviously a great idea :D

That being said, he might try to use Ron as a meat shield and utilize his magic (if you want those two to be involved at all, Janet, that's entirely up to you!), and I know he's going to tag along with Haine from the DOGS cast part of the time as well. Those are about my only things for the draft, other than unless somebody tells him Ron has the neckchain, he's not going to pull it.

And I can't comment on house stuff since I don't live there so!

Yay for coming back! Harry will want to make sure he's alright. Is the wand itself disabled or is it just not helping Draco at all?

If the neck chain thing happens, Harry will probably send a note along to let Draco know. He feels guilty about taking it off in the first place.

He doesn't live there but he's so close by! I kind of imagine he and Harry making lewd gestures in the windows or something, since I think he took the room that allows him to best see the house?

Yeah I'll work on his post nowish and tag on it for a while. Wand's disabled and he can't do any of his wandless magic either.

The problem is that Draco may not actually use it even if he does know. Sorry Ron.

Maybe. House 24 is still between their two houses though so I'm not sure how much can be seen, depending on how big the houses are :o

I AM SUPER LATE AHHH.

BUT. Yeah Lily was probably brooding as well. She doesn't know Draco or Ron well. (she would probably know Ron a little since they live in the same place, though???) So she'd be upset more at the fact that these jerks are sending children to a warzone. B(

And for the house stuff! Lily wouldn't want to impose, so she probably took one of the downstairs rooms if they were free.
