Thank you all for the wonderful entries for the first plotline challenge, and for the various suggestions in the previous post.

We now have a list hefty enough to make a good doorstop.

And now to this month's prompt....:

Prompt Challenge 2: In 'Fidelity' House gets on Wilson's case for wearing a green tie, when his wife at the time, Julie, hates

Anybody else wonder how/why House knows Julie's colour preferences ?

That's the part I wondered about.

Maybe Wilson got her green roses some St. Patrick's day, and ended up spending the night on House's couch?

LOL! I've been trying to think how it could come up, I like your explanation :)

"Oh no! You got me green roses, I'm never talking to you again!"

That works with canon. In S2 he mentions that she isn't speaking to him.

I googled it, and apparently there really are green roses:

All that effort he went to to find her a rare green rose and she doesn't appreciate it! That makes the green tie a real slap in the face for Julie - unless he was wearing the ugly paisley tie when he left the house and changed in the car.

I must say that I checked out Wilson's scenes in that episode hoping for inspiration and he does indeed look very pretty :)

Also, how cool is it that House keeps track of Wilson's ties and knows which one he wears on every day of the week?

House keeps track of EVERYTHING concerning Wilson, including repeatedly hacking into his computer (and of course reading Wilson's emails, searching his calendar, etc.).

The roses themselves may have seemed like a slap in the face to Julie because they show that Wilson didn't realize or didn't remember her dislike for green.

I always loved that House tracked Wilson's ties.
