An irrational purchase?

I just bought a car that I've wanted ever since I first saw one when I was a teenager. What's changed now is that a.. I have found a really nice one, b.. I can afford it, and c.. I have a good excuse, er I mean a good plan for it

I'll be very interested on hearing about your progress on this, as that kind of thing has always been high on my "to do in my copious spare time" list. I'd love to give a hand as time permits. It might get me motivated to actually start the plug-in conversion for my Prius...

Oh man ... Looks like a lot of fun. I don't have any free time -- I use what I have fairly well, and am still falling behind -- but ... gosh, I'd like to help on that. And learn. (I say again -- I don't know nothin' much but I take orders real good.)
