tall order

I linked to this from a heady friend's blog. It if from a NY times list of questions to ask before that 'life-long' commitment of marriage (or something like it) And I can't help but think: wow, I am a long way off from that. Wow, great list. I'm sure 32407238472 other Q's could find their way to the bottom, but it's more the concept than anything.

It's unfortunate that many people don't consider these things beforehand. I think love tends to run away with people and they're blinded by the fantasy of it all and spend less time considering the real issues. Many of the Q's listed above could pontentially be dealbreakers in a relationship... I always fear finding the PERFECT person only to find out that s/he wants kids (oh God, my worst nightmare) or wants to live in the vicinity of his/her parents for all of eternity (shoot me). Who wants a blemish on perfection? Marry first, ask later ;)

If I think about it, I can only really answer one of those questions. #7 There will absolutly no way in hell be a TV in the bedroom.
