I like the photographs, but I'm sorry, what is this a collection of?

And I just stumbled upon this recently; but since it seems you're appreciative of artwork, I thought I would share this with you. It's sort of crummy humor, but intelligent nevertheless.

ha-ha! that was pretty funny thanks for sharing :)

and it's a collection of pictures. some i found by scavenging online others i scanned from books and the picture collection at the toronto reference library.

well it was meant to be exclusively about vita & virginia....but i also love violet, though in reading her letters without the replies by vita she rather got on my nerves with her pleading. i still think she was very brave and beautiful in the power of her feelings though. *sigh*

i was too impatient of course
and just read an article on vita.
i am intrigued to say the very least.

can you recommend a book? Orlando?

my god yes orlando! and the letters between her and virginia are very sweet too. of vita's work however i love "passenger to teheran" about her travels in persia. though i think it would be more instructive for you to get her "selected writings" which encompass a lot of interesting pieces that have not been published in a long time.

oh absolutely! i need to buy blue writing paper like virginia's. i've been dreaming of it for a while now. my next letter after this one will be on it, i promise.
