Waiting for the Bus

The heavy rain lashed the city streets filling up the puddles and the sewers with muddy water. There was no respite on days like these if one was unlucky enough to be caught in the merciless downpour. The bedraggled crows looked for cover under the eaves of buildings and the roads rapidly cleared as everyone ducked for shelter huddling together
