I loved Seattle. The weather is a bit like London. Grey skies, sporadic drizzle.

O, I find gift shopping rather frustrating too! And therefore, in some respect, I do not look forward to the India trip - there are hazaar people to buy gifts for.

But anyway, hope the online world saves you the hassle of going into town. Have a great holiday and enjoy the festive season and the mince pies!

Thanks - I'm glad you share my pain. I like getting the gifts but hate the sort of pre-packaged products if you know what I mean! Have most of it done now. Are you off to India soon?
ps: Loved your last post.

i think we indians must easily rank as the pushiest parents in the world. much against my better sense, i'd packed sid off to a montessori at age two and a half and now at four, he's at regular school- DPS. he gets a winter break soonish and we're very excited abt planning his holidays for him :-)

sourav's just got out after a fabulous 239. the most sublime innings by a southpaw that i've ever seen. in town too. pity i'm too lazy to go catch the action live instead of lounging in front of the idiot box. you go girl. enjoy the break from work and routine and never mind the deserving bit! have fun.

Ha ha, I didn't go to school till I was 5!:) Kids are definitely pushed more nowadays! Enjoy your holidays with your family...
My ma is going on holiday with the rest of her sisters and is really pleased!
Sourav made a double century - good for him!I was never a fan though am surprisingly quick to defend him when he's criticised by non- bengalis!:) Enjoy the rest of the cricket. Take care.
