You caught the reference. ;) I had just watched The Christmas Invasion again and it just made me think of how quickly he revived (no matter how shortly) when she said that to him. He was up and about and using his sonic screwdriver... just because she said that. :(

I have to chime in here. And I have to agree with the others. I love the way you wrote this. I always wondered if I was the only one who read something deeper into how quickly he came to when she asked him to help her in CI. The way you wrote this is beautiful.
