"Definitely," Parker sighed. "Angel tends to brood when things get fraught. So, yeah. Plus Logan can be amusing, and neither of them showed up for the New Year's party, so I wanted to make sure they were okay before I headed back to Oxford."
Ronan barely -- just barely -- managed to keep from actually saying, "RIGHT!" aloud, when he made the connection from 'trouble during Finals' to 'vampire who needed resouling' and the other stuff Peter had mentioned while they were in New York together.
"Okay is probably a relative term for them right now," Ronan said, even though he didn't know who Logan was. "It's good to have friends check up on you."
"Yeah. Well. Angel was hiding when I got here, so it's not like it was unnecessary, either." Parker shook her head. "I'm just wondering how I'm going to walk into the Eagle & Child tomorrow night without banging on the walls, looking for Fae."
"Hey," Ronan said, laughing, "don't worry. They'll find you." He wondered, immediately afterwards, why he sounded -- felt -- so certain about that, but decided to ignore it, at least for now, and leave it with the laughter, leave it sounding like a joke. "And... I understand the urge to hide, in a case like this."
Ronan was silent for a long moment. He took a long, slightly shaky breath, and then finally said, "I had a thing a couple of years ago. I... needed some sanity check visits from friends. That's all."
"I'm glad you got them," Parker said softly, then more briskly, "Well, I'm carrying some steel on me, just in case your friends show up. I liked them, but they're too weird to trust without magic back-up."
"Oh, yeah," Parker agreed, thinking of Emrys and Nimue, as well as the others they'd encountered. "Although, maybe I'll be working too hard to get down to the pub much, and avoid temptation. I'm up in London three days out of five this semester, working for my father's company."
"Oh, that sounds like fun." In a tone that made very clear that Ronan felt the exact opposite. "But at least you'll be in a position to... do something."
"Exactly." Parker smiled a little, thinking of ways to find out enough to undermine the Centre still more, and said, "Besides. Classes have been-- okay, not easy, but totally workable so far. With the low-level work they've got me doing, it shouldn't be much worse this semester. And! Oh! And! Allison is no longer sharing a suite with me!"
"The incredibly annoying one, yes." Parker grinned and did a little twirl on the fire escape. "She found a few other people on the first floor who were more compatible, and they're sharing a suite instead. Nourhane's so broken up she couldn't stop laughing when I told her."
Parker can occasionally avoid temptation by getting into other trouble. Her only option at the Hyperion right now is to call someone, though.

"Ronan?"
