Sebastien
Seb was nervous walking up to Pierre’s door. It was the same door he’d walked to so many times. To hang out… to sleep… to eat… and to beat up Pierre’s… friend…
But something about the way Pierre sounded when he asked Seb to come talk made him believe he wasn’t going to kick his ass again… so he took a deep breath, and knocked.

Pierre
Pierre took a deep breath and nodded at David who smiled back knowingly and got off Pierre’s lap to go to the bedroom where he’d agreed to stay doing whatever on his laptop until Pierre talked to Seb, possibly coming out when everything was resolved but right now that was a far shot. Regardless, he got up and opened the door feeling a large range of emotions when he saw his ex-best friend standing there looking… sad, and apologetic. And he moved aside, inviting him in.
Seb sat in the arm chair facing Pierre, who sat on the end of the couch that had spent so many nights posing as Seb’s bed.
“Look Seb, I know-” Pierre started.
“No, Pierre. Don’t say anything. I’m the one who needs to talk. I’ve been a giant douche bag and honestly, I don’t know why. I really don’t have a problem with you being gay. I guess it just wasn’t “cool” to be okay with it, or so I thought. And I guess I was kind of jealous. You’ve never had a serious girlfriend, which makes sense now, and every time I did, I’d ditch them any time you called. And then when you got with David and I saw how serious it was, I was just scared that I was gonna lose my best friend, but then I lost him anyways. I don’t know why I was such a jerk, I guess jealousy does that to people but I have never been more sorry in my entire life, and I know I owe a lot more than an apology to you and David, but I’d like to start with that.” Seb ranted, ending apologetically.
“Okay Seb but-” Pierre got cut off again.
“And about Sophia and Natalie, you would have known this if we’d been talking at the time, but they both asked me out at the same time and I didn’t know either of them very well. I wanted to get to know them better before dating one of them, which is why I didn’t make it official with either of them.” Seb kept ranting. Pierre smiled, and he knew Seb wasn’t lying to him. This was his best friend and he knew something didn’t feel right about the way it appeared he’d been acting. Seb was clearly sorry, and he would still owe David one big fucking apology, but for now Pierre just wanted things back the way they were. He smiled.
“So… did you ever choose?” He asked. A huge wash of relief came over Seb and he smiled his same sweet, friendly, smile he’d had since he was four years old.
“Yeah… that night with Sophia, I was gonna tell her the truth about Natalie and what I’d been doing, hope she’d forgive me, which she would have, and end things with Natalie as soon as the date was over. But then…” Seb started, and Pierre nodded his head slowly, and suddenly he was the one feeling bad.
“But then David told her about Natalie and everything got blown out of proportion…” Pierre finished his thought and Seb nodded.
“Yeah… but hey, it’s no big deal I guess. I mean, I did really like her, but I guess I deserved it after everything I’ve done.” Seb said, and Pierre could tell he meant it. Seb had always been smart like that. “Oh hey, where is David anyways? Is he here? I’d really like to talk to him…” Seb said sheepishly, cringing, his facial expression asking permission. And he should. After everything he’d done to David, he had no right to talk to him. But if David was willing to forgive him, Pierre had nothing more to say on the matter. So he went to the bedroom and motioned for David to come into the living room, taking his place back on the couch. David came over and sat next to Pierre, snuggling in as Pierre wrapped his arm around him.
“Seb wants to talk to you…” Pierre said, looking at Seb.

David
David took a deep breath at Sebastien who looked down at his lap, then into David’s eyes. David braced himself, for he really didn’t know what he was about to here.
“David…” He started. It felt weird hearing Sebastien say his name. “I know that there’s nothing I can say that could ever make what I did to you alright, but… I really can’t tell you how sorry I am. I know everything I did to you was wrong and I feel horrible about myself because of it. If Pierre’s dating you, then you must be cool, and if you’d forgive me so I can find out, I will spend as long as it takes, earning the right to be your friend.” Seb said. For the first part of the speech, David was sceptical. But as it went on, he could see that Sebastien really was sorry. And Pierre was the best man he knew, so if he’d been friends with him for so long, he couldn’t really be such a bad person. And suddenly the past was the past. There was no point in bringing it back, just finding a better future. David smiled.
“Thanks for apologising. I would really like it if we could be friends.” David said, and even though the sentence came out kind of formally, it suddenly made everything better, and for the first time ever… he was hanging out with Pierre Bouvier… and Sebastien Lefebvre.

Pierre
Pierre’s eyes slowly opened to the already open eyes of his beautiful boyfriend who was leaning his head on one elbow, watching him sleep. He smiled up at David. “Good morning.” He said. He was happy. So happy words couldn’t describe it. Just knowing that Seb was out there on his couch sleeping, while he was with David in the SAME apartment. It was like life couldn’t get any better.
“Good morning…” David replied. “Hey, I was thinking. Since Sean transferred schools, Seb doesn’t have a partner for that soc project.” he continued.
“So?” Pierre asked smiling playfully up at David, knowing where he was going with it, he just wanted to hear him say it.
“So maybe Chuck could come over today and Seb could work with us on ours.” David said. If it was possible, Pierre just got so much happier. David and Seb weren’t just getting along… they were friends. He smiled up and wrapped an arm around David’s neck, pulling the smaller boy on top of him and kissing him sweetly. When the kiss broke, he laughed and nodded his head. “Yes.” He said. And they started kissing again…

Sebastien
Did the two of them really think he couldn’t hear them moaning? He rolled his eyes, and got up, moving to the kitchen, deciding to make David and Pierre breakfast while they did… whatever they were doing. It was the least he could do. When he opened the fridge and saw he excessive amounts of yogurt and fruit, he knew that couldn’t be Pierre’s, and instincts told him to make that for David. So he cut up some of all the different fruits in the fridge, put them in a bowl, and set it at one of the chairs with a yogurt and a spoon. Then, knowing Pierre a bit better than David, he got out a frying pan and the eggs, making them with toast and bacon for Pierre and himself, setting them at two other spots on the table, and almost as if summoned by the food, Pierre and David suddenly entered the kitchen, wearing nothing but PJ pants. Pierre raised his eyebrows.
“Wow… Sebastien Lefebvre just cooked. Alert the media.” He said smiling, and Seb smiled too, just happy to have his friend back. David looked impressed too.
“How did you know what I like for breakfast?” He asked curiously as they all went to sit down at the table.
“Well, I saw the yogurt and fruit in the fridge, and Pierre’s got the dieting habits of an 800 pound man, so…” He let the thought finish itself and burst out laughing with David. Pierre just smiled half offended, half playful. He coughed dramatically to remind them he could hear them and they both shut up, smiling like idiots trying not to laugh again. Pierre gave David a look. Seb couldn’t really describe it… it was just, a look.
“What?! It’s true!” David quickly defended himself and this time, Pierre was laughing too. Seb looked at his friend and for the first time, he could see in his eyes how much he really did care about David.
“So Seb, David had this idea that maybe since you don’t have a partner for the soc project, we can call Comeau over today and you can join us?” Pierre said as all three of them started to eat. Seb’s heart felt like it was growing inside his chest. Pierre had forgiven him and David… this idea… was David’s… David was his friend… and he liked that a lot. He smiled.
“Thanks guys, I’d really like that. It means a lot.” He said, and they all dismissed the conversation with a smile, and went back to eating.
Sebastien had mixed emotions when he went to Pierre’s bathroom to take a shower. Happy nostalgia because of all the times he’d woke up and showered at Pierre’s before everything… and then it also felt kind of weird, knowing that right before he came in, Pierre and David had showered… together. But it didn’t matter. His friend was happy, and everything was back to normal. Pierre was on the phone with Chuck right now and by the time Seb finished his shower and put on the clean clothes he’d borrowed from Pierre, he would be there and they could all hang out again.

Chuck
Chuck always hated the walk to Pierre’s because there were so many weird turns. But he was anxious to work on the project. They hadn’t done much work on it in the eight months they’d had it for and it was due in two weeks. Pierre had said something on the phone about someone joining their group. It was kind of weird, being so late in the project but he figured after Sean moved, one of Sebastien’s friends probably ditched their partner for him, leaving someone alone on their project, so Pierre and David invited them to work in their group. Pierre and David. Chuck still found it hard to wrap his head around. How could he not know after all these years that Pierre was gay? It really didn’t matter. What mattered is that Pierre was finally able to be himself, and Chuck couldn’t be happier that Pierre was happy. And David was a really sweet guy. He was good for Pierre. Without even realizing it, Chuck was finally at the door to the apartment building that David and Pierre lived in. He knocked on the door, but let himself in not even a second later, which come to think of it, he should probably stop doing now that David was living here too… but it didn’t matter this time, they were just sitting on the couch cuddling lightly. Chuck came in and sat in the arm chair.
“So who’s this new partner?” He asked. David and Pierre exchanged a look and before they could say anything, the bathroom door opened and out came a very wet Sebastien, and Chuck’s jaw fell open. Half because… what the fuck was he doing here? And half because Seb hadn’t pulled his shirt on yet, and as he was doing so, Chuck got a good view of his body, and he looked really good wet, and…WHOA, WHAT? Chuck mentally slapped himself in the face. WHAT THE FUCK was he thinking? No. What just happened? He must be spending too much time with Pierre and David… not that being gay was contagious, just maybe his mind went there out of habit from being around them. Back to the original thought. What was he doing here? He’d beat David up, publicly humiliated him and Pierre on numerous occasions, then had David RAPED!
“What the fuck?!” Chuck asked, his brow creasing. Pierre opened his mouth to speak, a little too calmly.
“Dude, he had your boyfriend RAPED! WHAT THE FUCK is he doing here?!” Chuck kept talking, although he regretted it when David cringed on the word ‘rape.’ He looked up at Seb who’s eyes had suddenly become the size of saucers.
“WH-WHAT? RAPED?” He stammered nervously.
“Oh don’t pretend you didn’t know what your little friends fucking did!” Chuck said and something inside him churned when Seb’s eyes filled with tears and Chuck thought maybe he was jumping to conclusions.
“D-David I swear I didn’t know anything abo-” Seb started.
“I know.” David said simply nodding.
“Oh…” Chuck started. “Sorry, I didn’t know he wasn’t a part of it, but still… after everything he-” Chuck said.
“No. That’s enough. Everything’s fine Chuck, it’s a long story, but to make it short, Seb is back. The same Seb we grew up with. David and I forgave him, and it would be really nice if you did too…” Pierre said, bringing some control to the room. Chuck calmed down at this and looked back at Seb who was wearing a shirt, but was still wet… and his heart sped. Um, no! His heart sped because he was just so happy to have a friend back… right?
“Sorry Seb, I do forgive you and I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions.” Chuck said, leaving it at that.
“Yeah man, it’s c-” Seb started, cutting himself off. Chuck looked up at him confused to see him holding back a laugh. “Um… is that…?” Seb asked. Chuck’s brow furrowed in confusion and he looked around, then down, and this time it was his eyes that widened. All three of his friends burst out laughing at the tent currently taking up residence in Chuck’s pants.
“OHMYGOD” Chuck said quickly and without even giving himself a minute to think about it, he jumped up, and ran to the bathroom locking the door behind him. He put his hands on his head, terrified, humiliated, and confused. He could blame it on a thousand things, but there was no getting around the facts… he just got hard. From seeing his friend… his MALE friend… shirtless and wet. His body shuttered at the mental picture of Seb coming out of the shower, wet, and naked, and… HOLY SHIT. NO. HE.WAS.NOT.GAY.
…was he?

Rayenna
Rayenna opened her eyes to sunlight beating in through the window. She smiled. Jeff was so nice last night about everything… he was sweet… and he was kinda funny… and come to think of it, he really was kind of cute… she smiled to herself again. She could hear birds chirping outside, and everything was just really beautiful. Today would be good. She pulled herself out of bed and stumbled sleepily down the stairs in her pyjamas.
Her parents were drinking coffee and talking quietly at the kitchen table. She went to counter and got some cereal, sitting down with them. Her father looked at her.
“You don’t usually eat break-” He stopped himself and scoffed. “Oh yeah, you’re not the one eating it.” He said in a cold voice, shaking his head in disgust. Ray felt like something had stabbed her chest. She pressed her lips together looking down, then went on to eat her cereal.
“Anyways…” Her mother started giving her dad a stern look of warning. “After talking to Leo and Sara last night, we had a bit of a difference in opinion. They think you should give the baby to adoption, but your father and I think you should abort. So since we were unable to come to an agreement we decided we’d let you choose. Which would you rather do sweetie?” Her mother asked, smiling in what she probably thought was supportively. Rayenna looked down at her cereal, but raised her head slowly through the sentence. “Um… actually mom, I talked to Jeff last night too… and we both want to keep the baby…” She said nervously, looking into her mother’s eyes. “HA!” Her father said loudly, shaking his head at her once more in disgust. “I’ll drink my coffee in the living room.” He announced, and then he was gone.
Her mom turned back to her and held one of her hands. “Well sweetie… I can’t force you to abort any more than the Stincos can force you to adapt. But…” Her mother looked down, releasing Ray’s hand and not meeting her eyes again. “If this is really the decision you want to make… I don’t think you can live here…” She said. Rayenna’s head snapped up, her eyes instantly filling with tears.
“Mom…” She said weakly. Her mom just kept looking into her coffee like the Christian coward she was.
“I think you should go pack your things… if this is your choice, I want you out by noon…” Her mother said quietly. Tears started streaming down Rayenna’s face and she nodded her head slowely. If this was who her parents wanted to be, she was fine with it. She didn’t want to be here with people like that anyways. She pushed away from the table and walked away silently, waiting til her bedroom door was closed tight before leaning against it, falling to the ground, and sobbing.

Sebastien
Seb was now sitting on the couch beside Pierre and David, all of them silent, not really sure what to say. They all saw what had just happened, and unfortunately, they all knew why it had happened too…
“So Seb…” Pierre started, and Seb could hear him trying not to laugh.
“Shut up.” Seb said, and he said nothing more. He and David both laughed quietly, but that was expected.
“How long do you think he’s gonna stay in there for…?” David asked, still smiling and trying not to laugh. He and Pierre both laughed hysterically. Seb didn’t. Seb didn’t find this funny at all. Not because Chuck was attracted to him. Because… well… he… maybe… could… sort of… be attracted to Chuck too…
Okay, he couldn’t say that for sure. All he knew was that when he saw what happened when Chuck saw him… he liked it. And when he saw the way his face turned red… and when he ran to the bathroom… his heart melted at… well… as weird as this was to say… at how cute it was. And he knew he was attracted to girls, that wasn’t an issue. But maybe… there’s a small possibility… that he could be bisexual. Okay, no. Not maybe. Seb didn’t know what his sexuality was. But he knew he was attracted to women, and he knew that he wanted nothing more in this world than to be with Chuck. And he was always a risk taker, never one to stop to figure things out. So without saying a word to David and Pierre who still thought they were just the most hilarious mother fuckers to ever walk the earth, he got up and went to the bathroom door, knocking on it. No answer. Chuck was embarrassed. He got that. But he knew he was in there.
“Chuck it’s me, can you open the door?” Seb said through the thick bathroom door. He wasn’t sure Chuck had even heard him until he heard the soft click of the door unlocking. When it didn’t open, Seb let himself in, finding Chuck sitting on the floor, leaning against the bathtub. He wouldn’t look Seb in the eye.
“Look man…” Chuck started, not looking up at Seb. “It’s not what you think…” He continued. Seb could tell he hadn’t come up with a good excuse yet. His heart pounded at a thousand miles per hour. He’d never been so nervous in his life. Then again… he’d never felt this way before either.
“Chuck, stand up.” He said simply. Chuck looked up at him confused, but did it anyways.
“Now come here…” Seb said when Chuck didn’t move. He looked scared, confused, and ashamed. But he slowly started crossing the bathroom anyways. It seemed to take a millennium, so Seb closed the last step himself and quickly wrapped his arms up around Chuck’s neck and kissed him. Fireworks.
