I learned it from my old people neighbor/relatives down here. It's more like 'oh, look, it's raining while the sun's shining - looks like the Devil's beatin' his wife again' than anything.

It's still fun as hell.

Even without what I would normally say (that everyone has an accent), speaking as someone in a place far away from where you are, you do have an accent.

On another note, before this I had never heard of a term for "when rain falls while the sun is shining." ._.

And before I go: I love the way you say Alabama.
