When Titans Date is one of my favorite comic stories ever. Which is kind of odd, really, since it's just a little story from the Justice League Quarterly. A whopping 12 pages! And not a single person in costume to be seen. But my god it is basically nothing but lulz from start to finish.

Personally, I really like Ty Templeton's art. What's that guy up to these days, anyway?

Looking at Wikipedia, Templeton seems to be all over the place, among other things, teaching, and writing a Star Trek comic for IDW.

Hahahahaha, yes. Pay attention to the background. He's the "Scottish lumberjack" she makes reference to somewhere in there and he's been buying her drinks and trying to get her attention all night. It's a lovely little detail.

(I've heard Mr. Scottish Lumberjack is a portrait of either the writer or the artist, which I think makes it even better.)
