Sounds a bit Legion of Superheroes with emotional values or summat. I'd entertained the thought of doing Matter-Eating Lad somewhere just because he's Matter-Eating Lad. =P But yeah, I'd go for it. I'm not quite sure how the Lantern Corps works at all, though.

Also, why is green not greed.

Well, obviously, there'd have to be FAQs about how the Corps work. But basically you get a little doohickey (usually a ring) that can do damn near anything as long as you have the *insert emotion here* for it.

Green isn't greed because the Green Lantern Corps were first and ICly it's because it's green is at the center of the rainbow and therefore perfect for willpower as the emotional neutral between the negative emotions of red, orange, and yellow and the positive emotions of blue, indigo, and violet.
