Pierre Blanchar (1892-1963) was a French actor whose most well-known film is probably La Symphonie Pastorale. I'm partial to Crime et châtiment myself, in which he portrays Raskolnikov, AKA literature's sexiest criminal! Unfortunately, apart from this first photo, it's difficult to find pictures that really do him justice.

Nils von Dardel.
Nils von Dardel was a swedish post-impressionist painter. Dardel spent the 1920's in Paris with his bohemian friends, including Amadeo Modigligani and Jules Pascin. Eventually he married a pretty swedish author, Thora Klinckowström. They had a daughter called Ingrid, who became an actress, although not a very famous one.
